About The Oasis

We at The Oasis want to continually provide spiritual refreshment to those who are thirsting for the Bible within a community of people who are striving to remain relationally healthy and safe.
PASTOR JEFF ROYCE

Jeff Royce has dedicated his life to teaching the Bible. He believes that the Bible must remain central in our lives even while God’s Word has become irrelevant and secondary in many churches today.

Our Beliefs

We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.

We believe that God has revealed Himself through His Word, the Bible, and that the Bible is our authority for what we believe and why we believe it. Furthermore, we believe that God’s Word equips the believer completely for life.

We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ and that He is the God-man. He died on the cross for our sins. He rose bodily from the dead as He predicted and has ascended into heaven as our faithful High Priest.

We believe that man was created in the image of God and yet when given a choice, he chose sin over obedience to the Word of God. This brought a separation between God and man that can only be restored through faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe that salvation is a free gift based upon God’s grace, not our good works, and is given to those who are willing to receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

We believe that the goal of our salvation is to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ. Therefore, a healthy Christian is always growing and progressing in his faith.

We believe this transformation only comes about as we yield to the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

We believe that Christ’s church is made up of all true believers and that they are called to be active in living out their faith.

We believe that baptism is by immersion and the Lord’s Table is a memorial to His suffering and death on the cross. These are ordinances to be observed by the church. They are, however, not to be regarded as means for salvation.

We believe that the Lord will return for His church, as He promised, prior to the tribulation period.

We believe that at the end of the tribulation period, Christ will personally, bodily and gloriously return to the earth to establish a literal earthly kingdom of one thousand years.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, the eternal blessing of the saved in heaven and the eternal torment and separation from God of the unsaved in hell.

What We Value

An emphasis on spiritual growth through the study and application of God’s Word.

That everything we say and do be motivated and influenced by God’s grace.

Spending time together as a church family – it’s invaluable.

That our service for Christ not be burdensome but accomplished out of the overflow of our fellowship with Christ.

Seizing opportunities both inside and outside of our church family as God leads and provides.

That each person finds a place of service within our passion, giftedness and the affirmation of other believers.

A healthy, friendly and safe environment where we are continually being encouraged and refreshed.

Simplicity in our approach to our walk with Christ and how we come together as a church.
