Doctrinal Statement

• We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.

• We believe that God has revealed Himself through His Word, the Bible, and that the Bible is our authority for what we believe and why we believe it. Furthermore, we believe that God’s Word equips the believer completely for life.

• We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ and that He is the God-man. He died on the cross for our sins. He rose bodily from the dead as He predicted and has ascended into heaven as our faithful High Priest.

• We believe that man was created in the image of God and yet when given a choice, he chose sin over obedience to the Word of God. This brought a separation between God and man that can only be restored through faith in Jesus Christ.

• We believe that salvation is a free gift based upon God’s grace not our good works and is given to those who are willing to receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

• We believe that the goal of our salvation is to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ. Therefore a healthy Christian is always growing and progressing in his faith.

• We believe this transformation only comes about as we yield to the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

• We believe that Christ’s church is made up of all true believers and that they are called to be active in living out their faith.

• We believe that baptism is by immersion and the Lord’s Table is a memorial to His suffering and death on the cross. These are ordinances to be observed by the church. They are, however, not to be regarded as means for salvation.

• We believe that the Lord will return for His church, as He promised, prior to the tribulation period.

• We believe that at the end of the tribulation period, Christ will personally, bodily and gloriously return to the earth to establish a literal earthly kingdom of one thousand years.

• We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, the eternal blessing of the saved in heaven and the eternal torment and separation from God of the unsaved in hell.
